Philip Sparks Tailored Goods Inc. was founded in 2006. Since then, we have accomplished a lot including the production of luxury men’s-wear collections sold at retailers such as Holt Renfrew and La Maison Simons, and design collaborations with the Hudson’s Bay Company, Danier Leather, Town Shoes and Opticionado. Philip Sparks has been named the top men’s-wear designer in Canada by the Toronto Star and a designer on the rise by Forbes magazine, with additional features appearing in The New York Times, Sharp Magazine and Toronto Life.

The values of the fashion industry have changed a lot during our time in business. While others pushed for overseas production and instant gratification via fast fashion, we decided to slow things down, refine our craft and focus equally on the experience of creating clothing and the quality of the final product. As makers, we take a sustainable approach, producing only what we can create ourselves and only items that will be worn for years to come.

 In addition to his tailoring business, Sparks works as a professor in the School of Fashion at Seneca College and earned a Master’s degree in design from the Ontario College of Art and Design University.
